1 The data (Sentinel-1/-2) is provided in a consistent and precise manner. De file name gives an clear overview of the following elements:

3 1. **Product**: the product contained within this file (i.e. COMP; LAI).
4 1. **Algortihm**: the method or algorithms used to generate the data (i.e. SGRTA02; SEN2COR). The algorithm version will be stored in the metadata.
5 1. **Mission**: the sentinel platform and sensor of the data (i.e. S1A, S2B).
6 1. **Input data**: the relevant data used to retrieve the product or aquisition mode (i.e. IWRGDVV, B04).
7 1. **Date and time**: the acquisition date or start date and time (i.e. 20180625T100530)
8 1. **Ground sampling distance:** or spatial resolution of the data and Equi7 continental zone (i.e. EU10M, OC500M)
9 1. **Projection**: the relevant equi7 tile and tiling (i.e. E090N066T1, E004N008T6)

11 Additional information (i.e. software version) is stored in the metadata.
