1 The data (Sentinel-1/-2) is provided in a systematic manner. De file name gives an clear overview of the following elements:

3 1. **Product**: the product contained within this file (i.e. COMP; LAI).
4 1. **Algorithm**: the method or algorithms used to generate the data (i.e. SGRTA02; SEN2COR). The algorithm version will be stored in the metadata.
5 1. **Mission**: the sentinel platform and sensor of the data (i.e. S1A, S2B).
6 1. **Input data**: the relevant data used to retrieve the product or aquisition mode (i.e. IWRGDVV, L2AB04).
7 1. **Date**: the acquisition date or start date or week/month of composite (i.e. 2018WC22; 20170124)
8 1. **Ground sampling distance:** Equi7 continental zone and GSD or spatial resolution of the data (i.e. EU10M, OC500M)
9 1. **Projection**: the relevant Easting and Northing of the equi7 tile and tiling level (i.e. E090N066T1, E004N008T6)

11 Additional information (i.e. software version) is stored in the metadata.
